No Heat
- Check or change furnace filter
(This should be done a minimum of every 3 to 6 months)
- Check the furnace power switch
(It looks like a light switch and may be located on the ceiling, wall or on the furnace itself)
- Check the furnace circuit breakers in the breaker box
(It should be labeled "Furnace" turn it off and back on one time
- Check the thermostat temperature setting and
make sure that it is set in the "On" position
(Move the switch form "Heat" to "Cool" once or twice. Raise or lower the temperature
setting 5ƒ past the desired temperature. Move the switch from "Auto" to "On" once
or twice.)
No Cooling
- Check or change furnace filter

(It should be labeled "Air Conditioner" ó turn it off and back on one time)
- Check the service disconnect switch outside your house
(It will be attached to the house close to the A/C and have a wire going
to the A/C unit. Open the box and make sure it is in the "On" position. Turn it off and on once to reset)
